Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Parreira announces the new squad to be part of the Johannesburg base camp training. This is the final training camp leading to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The team has been on four previous camps including the resent 19 days in Germany. Meanwhile other players who went for training in Germany were not shortlisted for the next training camp. They might be holding their hope for the 2014 world cup. Ahead of the tournament Bafana Bafana have two international friendly matches against Colombia and Denmark on the 27th of May and 5th of June respectively. This will give Coach Parreira time to fine his squad before the World Cup tournament kicks off. The final 23-man squad for the World Cup will be announced on the 1st of June – ten days before the kick-off of the tournament.
